About Little Lunches...

 

      Hi!, My name is Lana!

     I am a mom of two beautiful children and both schools my children attend encourage "litter-less lunches". Thus begins my journey to find something that took up little space, was light, and my kids would enjoy having in their lunch, making it feel special for them. 

    I began to search the internet for different "lunch storage options" . There were so many! 

    I love trying to make things on my own as often as I can or as I have the time; especially when it comes to the kitchen, so when I came across an article about making  "plastic wrap", I was very intrigued.

    I began playing around with different fabrics and some beeswax I had on hand. Several hours and one massive mess later, I had made my first "Little Lunches Reusable Wraps" for my kids. Well, THEY LOVED THEM!!!!!

   My son chose a hockey pattern and my daughter a floral. They have used them every day and are able to wrap their own sandwiches, cookies, veggies, and anything else they can wrap (including pickles!). Because the beeswax has a stiffness to it , it creates better protection for a sandwich than a plastic bag, takes up less space than containers and doubles as an eating surface for their desk during the meal!
